Ten Good Ideas for New Board Presidents
2012 Jun
The purpose of this webinar is to help new presidents get ready for a productive year. Experience shows that a relatively small investment of time in advance of what is for many congregations the fall start of the church year, can make a big difference. We’ll review some simple basics for ways an incoming president can make the year more productive and even enjoyable for the board and the whole leadership.
Presenter: Rev. Ian Evison, Congregational Services Director for the Central Midwest District of the Unitarian Universalist Association
Ian works with local congregations individually and in groups to assist in planning, resource evaluation, organizational development, and program implementation. He coaches leaders, and works with district committees and partners with other organizations to bring excellence in programming to Central Midwest District.

The Rev. Andrew Pakula was Prairie Star District’s theme presenter at the Fall 2011 Small Congregation Conference in Des Moines, IA. Andy’s presentations were extremely well received by those in attendance. The three are: The New Unity Story, Using Social Media, and Attracting Young Adults.
